Importance of Panchopachara pooja
Whenever we perform any ritual to god, Panchopachara pooja will be given the first prominence. This means Gandham (sandalwood), Pushpam (flowers), Deepam (lamp), Doopam (incense sticks) and naivedyam (food). Similarly, we have Dasopachara pooja – pardyam, argyam, achamanam, snanam, vastram, gandham, pushpam, dhoopam, deepam, naivedyam.
Shodachopachara pooja - pardyam, argyam, achamanam, snanam, vastram, aabharanam, gandham, pushpam, dhoopam, deepam, naivedyam, aacahmana, tambula, stotra patanam, tarpana, namaskaram
When you light ghee lamp in your house then you need to light the lamp towards the right side of the god. If you are lighting with oil then best of all other oils is til oil, you need to place the lamp towards the left side of the god.
What is Daiva runa
As a human being, we should be thankful to God for giving unimaginable intelligent body. In Hindu mythology among all ‘runas’ we should accomplish daiva runa. During our life span will be suffering from various obstacles because of maya, and we are forgetting the truth of human.
We try to claim that these obstacles are all part of God's game. We need to thank god every day by performing pujas, archanas, dhana (giving), donations, etc. and say
“eshwaranugrahapraptha prityardham” and “dharma, artha, kama, moksha, phala purshardha prityardham”.
Money is not created by God, only human beings created it for his needs. But still, we are struggling hard to make more and more money either by hard work or by illegal work. In this process, we are totally neglecting god. Whoever person follows the steps of good and donates his wealth along with prospering in his life and accomplishes daiva runa will be able to create steps to reach god easily.
