Why do we make attulu on Atla Taddi Normally on Ashwayuja bahula thithi is an auspicious day for all ladies. On this day ladies make attulu (plain bread type). When they make this attulu there will be the formation of holes, ladies pray to lord Parvathi Devi saying a number of holes should resemble those many years of livelihood relationship with her husband. For girls who are not yet got married pray to goddess to bless with a handsome husband and beautiful children. Along with plain bread women also like to put Mehendi on this auspicious day.
