Who is Vimana Venkateshwara Swamy? In order to bless his devotees,  Lord Venkateshwara  left Vaikunta and came to earth. Tirupati is considered to be kaliyuga Vaikunta. Gopuram of the temple is coated with gold plate. On the top of golden gopuram having silver gates, Lord Sri Venkateshwara resides. (Silver gates resemble to show the location of the lord). Many of the devotees after having the blessing of Lord Venkateshwara come out and see  Vimana Venkateshwara Swamy  who is above the golden gopuram.  On lord Vishnu's order, Garukmanta bought  Vimana Venkateswara from  Vaikunta. From where did bilva patra tree originate When Sri Maha Vishnu along with his wife started doing meditation for Lord Shiva, bilva patra/ bael tree originated from the hands of Goddess Lakshmi right hand. Pleased with the prayer done by Maha Vishnu, Lord Shiva appeared and blessed with the boon to protect the universe with his mystical powers. In Sanskrit it is also called as Sri Tree, this tree is being prayed by gods in Swarga (heaven), Mandara Mountain and Vaikunta. Bilva leaves are one of the liked items of Lord Shiva, you can pray to Mahadev on any day. If you pluck the leaves on Monday then it should be used only on that day, it’s not like flowers pluck on one day and use for future use.
