Significance of Ganesh Nimajjan During the season of Vinayaka chavathi , all Hindus perform pujas to Lord Vinayaka by installing large idols in their town. In all mandalas, Lord Ganesh is worshipped for a period of 10 days starting from Bhadrapada Shudha Chaturthi to the Ananta Chaturdashi. We perform special pujas by offering laddu as naivedyam. Previously we used to install Ganesh idols only in temple premises and perform pujas.
