Where does Goddess Lakshmi like to reside Among the Hindu goddess, Lakshmi Mata is worshiped by all. She is considered as the mother of all humans and being worshiped by all devotees. She is the wife of Lord Vishnu. Food, power, victory, luck, beauty, richness, etc. are her qualities. She is the root of wealth, wealth doesn’t mean only money, power, courage, knowledge, and wisdom is the forms of wealth.  That is why during the festival of Diwali, we all worship goddess Lakshmi. Goddess Lakshmi likes light and knowledge. Deepa Lakshmi with her glow of light removes the darkness of the new moon. Time to be spent for bathing One should at least bath for half an hour, but due to a busy life, many of us cannot spend time bathing. One should spend half an hour at least once a week for bathing. First, we need to wet our body with four mugs of water then apply "sunni pindi" (a mixture of green gram powder, rice powder, Bengal gram dal powder). Then do the regular bath. Once you are finished, you need to clean all your body parts with a clean towel or else that may lead to skin diseases. Our private part doesn’t get proper air, so bacteria grow rapidly. It’s recommended to clean them properly. According to sastras, when it comes to female, it is recommended to bath without any clothes, whereas male should wrap any cloth.  If you bath early morning around 4 -5 A.M, then it’s called muni(sage) bath, if its 5-6 A.M then god bath, 6-7 A.M then its human bath, later period of time are called demons.
