Where does Goddess Lakshmi like to reside


Among the Hindu goddess, Lakshmi Mata is worshiped by all. She is considered as the mother of all humans and being worshiped by all devotees. She is the wife of Lord Vishnu. Food, power, victory, luck, beauty, richness, etc. are her qualities.

She is the root of wealth, wealth doesn’t mean only money, power, courage, knowledge, and wisdom is the forms of wealth.  That is why during the festival of Diwali, we all worship goddess Lakshmi.
Goddess Lakshmi likes light and knowledge. Deepa Lakshmi with her glow of light removes the darkness of the new moon. We all are aware that she is born from the ocean but we don’t know that she is the daughter of Brugu Maharshi. He is the eldest son (Manasa Putra) of Lord Brahma.

Whoever chants the stotra will be blessed with wealth.

"Namaste Sarvalokanam jananemabjasambhutam
Sreyamunnida padmaaksham vishnuvakshastala stitaam"

"నమస్తే సర్వలోకానాం జాననీమబ్జసంభూతమ్

Goddess Lakshmi will bless her devotees even though one has bad habits but she will not spare anyone who neglects her and forget to care for her. That is why our elders say that one should not have their eyes on their head once you get rich.

It is said that Goddess Lakshmi is unstable and cannot reside at one place forever. If we notice a person who lived like a king may become a beggar at a certain point of time. She is stable only at the feet of Lord Vishnu. If you are blessed with Lord Vishnu then you are automatically blessed with goddess Lakshmi.
