Importance Of Karthika Masam
Importance of Karthika Masam
In the Hindu religion, karthika masam is believed to be an auspicious month. We find Lord Ayyappa and other devotees taking a mandala (41 days) Deeksha. During this month if we can control our senses and chant mantras by keeping our body clean, bathing with cold water, we get released from all kinds of sins. During this season we need to perform puja with the help of Tulasi leaf. Under the shadow of the amla tree, we need to offer "pinda pradhan." Eating amla and wearing mala makes Lord Vishnu pleased.
During karthika masam we need to insert "stambam" long rod or a trunk inserted into the ground. We need to tie a vessel which swings and we need to light oil lamp so that it is visible through eight directions (according to Hindu religion it is said eight directions). By doing so, it brings you the effect of praying all gods.
Something once lost will never return
- Lost time
- Arrow released from a bow
- A misspelled word from our mouth.
- Lost opportunity
As we can't bring back precious time, we need to utilize it properly. Even when we speak work we need to take care of each and every word, sometime they might hurt others feeling as well as put you in trouble.
When it comes to opportunity, we can't count on our luck it is not forever so we should always make the best use of the opportunity and convert into our profit. Always a clever person will not miss any small opportunity.
