Why do we bless with akshintalu
Why do we bless with akshintalu
In Indian tradition blessing with Akshintalu has its importance and you
find this blessing process in all Puranas.
Akshintalu means rice grains coated with turmeric powder. Lord Brahma will
write our fate on our forehead. Karma and its influence will be written on the head. If old people or the person who has done all noble deeds put akshintalu on the head and bless a person, at
least some of his karma and its influence can be changed. So whenever our
elder person wishes us with akshintalu
we should pick the grain and dispose of them in a place where no one stamps it
again.

Why do we give shavasan more importance in yoga?
When we do yoga, we intend to circulate blood throughout the body. Every yogasan is focused on a particular area of our body. It will try to circulate more blood to that part and try to remove all waste and poisonous blood from that area. For example, when we do vajrasan blood is transferred from legs and thigh to stomach so that the portion around the stomach gets cleaned.
Similarly, we have many varieties of yogasans which focuses on a particular part by guiding blood flow. When we do “shavasan” all the blood transferred to a particular part will return to its normal position.
