Why we See lord Shiva from bull horns

Why do we see Lord Shiva through the horns of bull?

Why do we see Lord Shiva through the horns of bull?

When we enter lord Shiva temple, we find “Nandhi”, Indian bull. The idol of seated bull is placed straight to Shiv Linga. Our parents say it is good to see lord Shiva through the horns of Nandhi. According to mythology, Nandhi is said to be gate keeper of Lord Shiva and goddess Parvathi, if you need to meet lord Shiva, you need to take permission.

Nandeshwar is known for his vedic dharma. He resembles our animal kind of nature. Holding his horns and keeping our hands on his tail, when we see Lord Shiva through the horns of Nandi, saying the words “Oh god, I will control my animal kind of nature, I will do good things for all human kind and live with honest”.

Our ancestors prescribed us not to eat more than twice. Why?

During the time of our ancestors, our major income source for the country/kingdom was agriculture. In order to work hard, they used to eat in large quantity. During our childhood and young age, we are told to have one extra meal i.e. three times. But after the age of 30, people are said to have maximum 2 times.

If we cross 30, and if we continue to eat three times or more it is considered that we are damaging our health, more over there was a belief that after 30 we are prone to diseases as our immunity decreases. If we are away from sexual life then it was recommended to have only one meal and have as many fruits you like.
