Why does goddess Saraswathi sits on stone?

If you observe goddess Saraswathi, you find her holding veena in her hand and sits on stone. Whereas you see goddess Lakshmi, you find her sitting on lotus.

                The main reason why goddess Saraswathi doesn’t sit on lotus is because lotus is not stable. In other words, goddess Saraswathi doesn’t like to stay in a place where there is no stability. The hidden fact behind this is, we may lose all the wealth earned in our life, but what all we have learned and knowledge gained cannot be lost.

                We can also notice the vehicle of goddess Saraswathi is swan. Swan has knowledge, if we combine water and milk and put before swan, it differentiates milk and water. It only consumes milk. That means we can do anything with the help of knowledge.

                In other incidence, peacock violates nature rule. It gains pregnancy by drinking male peacock’s eye drops.

Why we need to trespass seven entrances of lord Venkateshwara

In order to visit Tirumala shri Venkateshwara swami, we need to trespass 7 entrances. What is the meaning and myth behind it?

When people wish to visit Lord Venkateshwara swami, they trespass 6 entrances (gates) and then visit Lord Balaji in next seventh entrance i.e in “garbha gudi”. The myth behind it is: Human body has seven points in “brahmanadi” (in other words seven chakras). In order to reach soul, he has to move to his seventh point.

                Because of this reason, it is said lord venkateshwara swami said “I am in seventh room, if you need to reach me you need to excel all your seven points. Then you can see my divine spirit.”
