Benefit of putting Shatari on head

What is the benefit of putting shatari/ shadagopyam on head?

Normally after visiting temple we should not forget to take theertham and shadagopyam. Many of us think our duty is finished when Lords visit is finished and see some lonely place sit to take rest or meditate. Only few of us sit and apply shatari/ shadagopyam on our head.

Meaning of Shadagopyam is very secret. When we wish some boon, it should not be heard to the Brahmin who puts on our head. It means our boon resembles shadagopyam. Normally our enemies are angry, desire, ego etc., here when we bow and apply shadagopyam on our head, it means we ready to be away from our enemies. Few people go away from applying it because we don’t have enough change, but it’s wrong.

Why shouldn't we use water of washed clothes to clean legs?

Yes, it is said that we should not use drained water/ washed water of clothes to clean our legs and say it brings bad sign for our family. We find many women in India use water left over after washing strained clothes to clean their legs without any commen sense/ lack of knowledge. Doing that brings bad signs to our family. Because when women spend lot of time in water they get cracks on hands and legs. About 90% middle class women have cracks, only people who are educated try to take some precautions.

People who doesn't take proper measurements, when they use contaminated water to clean ther legs having cracks are prone to diseases as bacteria in the water trasfer into the body and cause disease. When a house wife is suffering with disease and is hospatalised, all the work at home gets disturbed. As many of the houses are said to be taken care of all the works by house wifes.
