Time to be spent for bathing One should at least bath for half an hour, but due to a busy life, many of us cannot spend time bathing. One should spend half an hour at least once a week for bathing. First, we need to wet our body with four mugs of water then apply "sunni pindi" (a mixture of green gram powder, rice powder, Bengal gram dal powder). Then do the regular bath. According to sastras, when it comes to female, it is recommended to bath without any clothes, whereas male should wrap any cloth.  If you bath early morning around 4 -5 A.M, then it’s called muni(sage) bath, if its 5-6 A.M then god bath, 6-7 A.M then its human bath, later period of time are called demons.
